“ Incredible it is that after 20 years of living in Broward County AND being a BBQ fiend, it was last night my first visit to this wonderful place. Donna was our server and she was awesome! She did not lie that the Coleslaw was amazing (Only Pig Beach's Purple CS is better) Everything was on point and very tasty. Will keep coming back -and will have extra Coleslaw to GO! ”
“ First time customer, First impressions... the restaurant is tastefully decorated. It's clean and well staffed. Our waitress was great , very attentive and kept our drinks full. The food came out as requested it was fresh and had plenty of flavor. I did not care for the cole slaw. But everything else was great. Plenty of parking and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend. ”

“ Shortys has the best house BBQ sauce. A vinegar based sauce loaded with flavor without all the sugar of regular tomato based sauces. I get the beef sandwich and give it an unreasonable coat of their sauce. The fries get a showering as well. Not everyone likes this sauce, and I'm fine with that... more for me. I buy some to bring home to put on my own bbq. Their slaw is very good but it can be a bit raw from time to time. They have a good menu of all kinds of good food. So. When I'm traveling through Ft. Lauderdale, I always stop for food. ”
“ I’m always looking for great BBQ places nationwide and Shorty’s BBQ has been added to the list. The first time I ate here I was a total newbie and asked what was the sauce they give on the side for? The super nice waitress let me know and she told me that “people go crazy for this sauce, they put it on everything”. I tried it and definitely was hooked on putting it over my fries! Everything I’ve ordered at Shorty’s has been great and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend Shorty’s BBQ. Definitely try their sauce and see what you’ll be putting it on!
